He sure likes prison stories).Jennifer Hansonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14074062788001058126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3011790998496825367.post-55889268587232570862009-12-11T09:57:49.133-06:002009-12-11T09:57:49.133-06:00Green Mile and The Shawshank Redemption are both g...Green Mile and The Shawshank Redemption are both great movies, though the latter has a better plot and acting in my opinion. Green Mile has great acting as well by the prisoner. Plus, it has Tom Hanks. So you made a great investment in both cases!Tammy W. I'll get to it, hopefully soon, I promise. And as for Paul Blart, I think I would only watch it under VERY special circumstances.

And of course I'm up for watching it with people other than Kirk! :) When would you want to go?Jennifer Hansonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14074062788001058126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3011790998496825367.post-39076714594833135222009-12-10T23:54:14.026-06:002009-12-10T23:54:14.026-06:00START WITH FREAKS AND GEEKS. P...START WITH FREAKS AND GEEKS. You will LOVE it.

Please don't watch Paul Blart - as a video store employee, I look down on the people who rent that and I like you.

I kind of want to see Avatar, too, even though it looks hella cheesy. Are you up to going with people other than Kirk?briettahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03116868906898834811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3011790998496825367.post-90245369354082334212009-12-10T22:34:45.984-06:002009-12-10T22:34:45.984-06:00I'm seeing Avatar primarily because the visual...I'm seeing Avatar primarily because the visual effects look so amazing. The story doesn't seem bad, but it sounds like The Last Samurai and Dances With Wolves, only on an alien planet.

I've never been able to do TV on DVD. If it's not actually on TV, I just don't have the discipline to see it through, especially if it is a long series. Firefly I was able to handle because it was only something like 16 episodes...and it was amazing.Jennifer Hansonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14074062788001058126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3011790998496825367.post-39285125483894176382009-12-10T22:14:20.416-06:002009-12-10T22:14:20.416-06:00You've got some good viewing ahead of you, but...You've got some good viewing ahead of you, but lordy, lordy, do I hate Paul Blart: Mall Cop. Starts off promising, and crashes to Earth pretty shortly thereafter.

Freaks and Geeks is good. I love TV on DVD; I'm currently watching the entire "It's Garry Shandling's Show" series on DVD, and it's like crack cocaine - "Just one more!" I say at 3 a.m.

I hope Avatar is good. The effects look cool, but I'm a bit worried about the rest...Kenton Larsenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09288769050712529811noreply@blogger.com
